Intensive Care Program

At Cornerstone Post Acute Care of Bossier, our intensive care treatments provide around-the-clock, highly specialized support for patients with life-threatening or complex medical conditions. We combine advanced technology, continuous monitoring, and expert clinical teams to manage critical illnesses, stabilize patients, and promote recovery in a safe, closely supervised environment. Our nurses and respiratory team are ACLS-certified, ensuring advanced life support skills are always available when caring for patients with critical or complex conditions.

Our Respiratory Therapists play a critical role in weaning patients from ventilators. Working closely with Pulmonologists and Critical Care physicians, they provide individualized care plans, monitor progress continuously, and adjust support as patients gradually regain the strength and stamina to breathe independently. This careful, step-by-step approach helps ensure a safe transition from mechanical ventilation to self-sufficient breathing.
